Karman Kaur Thandi won USD 25,000 ITF women’s tennis tournament

Karman Kaur Thandi won the USD 25,000 ITF women’s tennis tournament at Baliawas, Gurugram, on Sunday. She defeated Sofia Costoulas of Belgium 6-4 2-6 6-1 in final. This is her second Career Pro Title.

Earlier she Punnin Kovapitukted 6-2, 6-3 in the semifinals while Sofia Costoulas defeated Saki Imamura of Japan 6-2, 6-4.

In the final, the eighth-seeded Karman will face the 17-year-old world No. 3 junior,  of Belgium who played an energetic game to beat

Earlier in 2018 Karman won her first singles title in the professional circuitin Hong Kong, when she had blasted the top seed – Jia JIng Lu of China – 6-1, 6-2 in the final.
