21 April 2022, New Delhi: Following the selection trials in New Delhi, the Badminton Association of India on Thursday announced 10 member (5 men and 5 women) Indian squad for the Birmingham 2022.
Team India had won 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
BAI also named squads for the upcoming Thomas Cup, Uber Cup and 2022 Asian Games.

Kidambi Srikanth, Lakshya Sen, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, Chirag Shetty and B Sumeeth Reddy.
Women’s Team:
PV Sindhu, Aakarshi Kashyap, Treesa Jolly, Gayatri P and Ashwini Ponappa.
