2021 SAFF Championship was held in Maldives from 1st October to 16th October, 2021. All the matches were held at the Maldives National Football Stadium, Male. The governing body South Asian Football Federation organised the 2021 SAFF Championship, which was the 13th edition of the tournament.

The 2021 edition followed a round-robin format with the top two making the final. India defeated Nepal 3-0 in the final to win the tournament for the eighth time.

The 13th edition of the SAFF Championship was originally scheduled in Pakistan. However, Pakistan could not compete as FIFA sanctioned the country’s football body. Bhutan too pulled out of the tournament due to COVID-19 pandemic. After appearing in three successive finals, Afghanistan left SAFF to join Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) in 2015.
