Mumbai beat Gujarat in a Super over thriller

Rajkot,Apr 29: Mumbai Indians beat Gujarat lions for the second time in this tournament this time with super over thriller.
Earlier Gujarat lions won the toss and choose to bat. They started well with Ishan Kishan but failed to take that one big. They scored only 153 in 20 overs which is still a decent score in t20.
In the second Mumbai indians also scored exactly 153, three run outs lead them to super over.
In super over Mumbai indians scored only 11 runs with lose of 2 wickets in only 5 balls. Later,Bumrah’s brilliant bowling lead them to thriller victor. Mumbai indians back to winning track after the lose against Pune. Mumabai indians stays at no.2 in points table with 14 points while Gujarat stays at 5th position with only 6 points.

Mumbai beat Sunrisers by 4 wickets

Mumbai, Apr 12: A fine bowling performance by Jasprit Bumrah and Harbhajan Singh helped two time champions Mumbai Indians beat defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad by four wickets in the tenth match of the Vivo Indian Premier League 2017 here at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday.

Useful contributions from Nitish Rana (45), Parthiv Patel (39) and Krunal Pandaya (37) helped Mumbai chase down the target with eight balls to spare.

Earlier, Sunrisers managed to score 158 for the loss of eight wickets in their allocated 20 overs after being put into bat by Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma.

Nagpur, Jan 4: Gujarat beat Jharkhand by 103 runs on day 4 at Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground, here on Wednesday.

Chasing a modest target of 225, Jharkhand were dismissed for 111 in their second innings. Jasprit Bumrah took six wickets in a brilliant display of fast bowling. Earlier, in the day Gujarat were dismissed for 252 in their second innings.

Kolkata Dec, 27: Indian Oil (IOC) won the 121st All India Beighton Cup Hockey Tournament after Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) 5-3 in the final played at SAI Complex in Kolkata on Tuesday.

Indian Oil – 5 (Gurjinder Singh 4’ & 22’, S.K. Uthappa 12’, Deepak Thakur 45’, Prabhjot Singh 48’) beat Bharat Petroleum – 3 (Amir Khan 42’, Varun Kumar 44’, Harmanpreet Singh 63’)
