Another wicket keeper-batsman coming from Jharkhand.
Ishan Kishan (wicket keeper of Jharkhand) smashed his 1st first class double hundred in his first class career against Delhi. He is 3rd youngest to do so, at the age of just 19 years 111 days.
In his breath-taking knock, he scored 273 in 336 ball including 21 fours and 14 mammoth sixes (he equal the record of maximum sixes in an inning).
Ishan Kishan had captained the Indian under-19 Cricket Team in this year under-19 World Cup.
Ishan is coached by his elder brother Santosh Kumar. Ishan came to Ranchi in 2013, when he was only 15 years old. However, he soon got selected for the Jharkhand Ranji Team. His performance in the domestic cricket impressed India “A” coach and legend Rahul Dravid.
